Directions:

Do not use if the heat stake is already broken.
To open, align the heat stake away from your face (eyes), body, and the patient. Break the tamper-evident stake by twisting the cap or snapping downward.
To attach the needle, push it straight onto a regular luer (luer slip) or twist onto a luer-lock syringe and pull the cartridge off.
When necessary to remove needle, needle cartridge may serve as a wrench. The needle need never be touched.

Handle needles with care to avoid injury. Bent, damaged, or improperly recapped needles may cause breakage, tissue damage, or transmission of infectious diseases.
